2024 European Football Championship Knock Out Stages
The twelve group winners and runners up are joined in the knock phase by the four third placed teams with the best record. The criteria are 1) points, 2) goal difference, 3) goals scored, 4) wins, 5) lower discipinary points 6) Euro qualifying rankings. If the process reaches criterion 6 and Germany are involved lots will be drawn (because Germany did not take part in the qualifiers and have no ranking.)
Netherlands, Georgia, Slovakia and Slovenia progressed as the four third-placed teams with the best record while Croatia and Hungary went out
