Ladbrokes Scottish League Two 2016 - 2017
For the first time ever, a club has been promoted to the top levels of Scottish football. This follows the introduction of a pyramid system three years ago. Edinburgh City from the Lowland League made history when they beat East Stirlingshire with a late goal in the second leg of the play-off final.

The new first strip is about as traditional as you can get for the Bully Wee with the addition of Hummel's trademark chevrons. The alternative is also new this season.

Sixty-seven years after resigning from the Scottish Football League, Edinburgh City are back and have made history as the first team ever to have won promotion to the top levels of Scottish Football. (All previous new members were elected.) They have opted to retain both strips from last season which should please supporters.

Forfar, who dropped down into League Two at the end of last season, replace their kits on a two-year cycle so this season we have a new first kit. Predominantly dark blue, this has Pendle's signature sleeve trim and a prominent light blue band across the chest that continues onto the top of the sleeves.
